I’ve read many books and audio courses on therapeutic hypnotherapy. Stephen’s DVD together with his online course will teach you principles that go beyond techniques. Each time I watch the DVD I learn something at a deeper level.

As a hypnotherapist I already used the the power of hynpnosis to assist people. Since starting to use The more indirect method I am aware actually that we guide our clients more “directly” to their resources.
So even though we use indirect methods the clients go more directly themselves to the cause and the relief of the problem/blockage whatever they have.
The method feels better in its use and just ask my clients – I know they also respond in deeper ways.
The session presented in this video is actually astounding in its content. There are so many levels, so many aspects brought into play by Stephen Brooks. It is truly masterful and in many ways a work of true art.
Actually as a hypnotherapist its a bit daunting to watch – until you hook onto Stephen Brooks’ main theme – TRUST THE SUBCONCIOUS – once both therapist and client do this – well, they are both indirectly on the direct route to a better life and better, deeper therapy sessions.
I cannnot recommend this enough – Perhaps having seen it you will, like me – get the “A-HA” moment and sign up to one of his courses. Take for instance the no obligation FREE 1 year online course.

This is a real masterpeice, If you would like to learn hypnosis and or therapy this is what you need to really learn well, also as a case study for doctors etc would be a fantastic buy aswell, stephen teaches all the way through the therapy so you get to see the techniques in action where as alot of other hypnosis learning material lacks this. The course at the BHR is fantastic, people are kind, helpfull and you will learn alot here,

This DVD set is a brilliant introduction to indirect Hypnosis and understanding how and why Hypnosis works . The first DVD shows how Stephen Brooks works in a typical therapy session offering Avril his full attention,this lady who has allowed herself be videoed so we may learn so much . You get much more than that with the second DVD something that you may not have experienced before ,the same Therapy session with interspersed commentary where Stephen explains the dynamics of his approach you will find each time you view these recordings you will gain new understanding of how we as people respond and process information taken in through our senses both directly and indirectly .. Stephen also offers a free online Course to the buyer of this DVD the course is structured into many easy to follow modules with a student forums so you can help each other with any difficulties in understanding any part of the course .

I am a hypnotherapist and first learned of Stephen Brooks’ work some years ago from the British Institute of Hypnotherapy. I enrolled on his online course and soon realised what a great practitioner and therapist he is. I bought the DVD some months ago and was mightily impressed. The first DVD is of a weight-loss session and you get an excellent example of first-class conversational hypnosis, but after seeing the second DVD, where Stephen thoroughly explains each remark and embedded suggestion/command, you realise the wealth of information on offer here. Sure, there is not the range of therapeutic issues and only the one client type, but it is still a fantastic learning aid that I would recommend to any student and practitioner.
If you want to see Ericksonian style Indirect Hypnosis in action, look no further.
