Trish As I sit here writing this article I’m enjoying the inhale and exhale of a large plume of smoke and watching it slowly dissipate. Actually it is vapor, not smoke, and I didn’t have to light my cigarette, I just pulled it out of my top shirt pocket and inhaled.
November 19th, 2009 Trish I woke up this morning at 5.00 am feeling absolutely lousy. My throat was so sore I could barely swallow, my head was throbbing and I had earache. I started to cough and boy was that painful. I got up and took some paracetamels then curled back up into my warm bed.
October 21st, 2009 Trish I was getting restless waiting for the train and without thinking pulled my electric cigarette out of my pocket and had taken a couple of long puffs at it before noticing the evil looks that I was getting from my fellow travellers.
October 19th, 2009 Trish I’m still in there – 5 months without a cigarette and it feels pretty good. I very rarely get that ‘must have a cigarette’ feeling and if I do it’s pull is much weaker than it was.
September 20th, 2009 Trish Blimey I never thought I would get this far so easily with stopping smoking and without murdering everybody around me. If I was a TV star I would say that I’ve had quite a journey, but the only time I’ve ever been on TV was as a 15 year old waving a hockey stick at Edward Heath when he came to open the local Conservative club so I won’t say that.
