am currently quiting smoking i’ve smoked for about 3 years and am now quiting for a healthier lifestyle i know that smoking can cause gum disease them gums sometimes bleed when i brush them but am using this mouthwash that helps gum problem with quting smoking will my gums get better in time?

Nicotine being smoked with none of the health risks. Possible big part of life in the future? Of course there could be tax on the nicotine of governments were so worried about losing tobacco tax.
Im 21 years old and have been smoking since i was 14. I have just recently quit and am wondering if my lungs will ever get back to the same health as someone who has never smoked or will they just get better but never 100% ?
